One such camp is ruled by Sir Jimmy Crystal (Jack O’Connell), a smiling cult leader. Whose allure is laced with violence, and has a fervent following. Jamie and Spike then meet Dr. Ian Kelson (Ralph Fiennes), a grim physician who claims he may have a cure that can awaken Isla from her fog.
Driven by love, Spike vows to obtain the cure or die trying, even if it means tearing his father and himself away from safety. Their journey oscillates between fierce shootouts with the infected and ambushes set up by rival gangs, forcing them to weigh courage, loss, and the price of humanity in a dark world.
